The pepper and water experiment
Water
And Pepper
First you need to get water and put the water on the plate.
Then you sprinkle the pepper on and put your finger in the middle.Nothing happens.
But if you put dishwashing liquid on your finger and put your finger in the middle of the plate, the pepper should all go to the edges

Hi Ethan, that sounds like a fun experiment. I wonder why the pepper runs to the edges when you use the dishwashing soap? I wonder what would happen if you use hand soap or washing powder?
ReplyDeleteHi Ethan, you could also try differences in the types of pepper you use. What happens if you use ground fine pepper compared to pepper flakes that come out of a grinder. Maybe James could try this one too.
ReplyDeleteYes Mr Gold I am going to try that tomorrow and use a pepper grinder
DeleteJames when you do the experiment put it on your blog
